Coach Rich has helped me train injury free.  I’ve been a runner for 30 years. I ran track and cross country in high school.  Back then every workout was pretty much all out, everyday.  With Coach Rich’s training, I go harder on the hard days and much easier on the easy days.  Each workout is targeted towards improving a specific skill or improving performance.

After college I ran a couple of marathons and a lot of shorter races.  For the past few years I’ve been plagued by injuries including persistent plantar fasciitis.  Coach Rich’s training plan is designed to minimize the risk of injury while keeping me moving towards my goals.

I am a small business owner, corporate consultant, husband and father of two.  My schedule is crazy to say the least.  Coach Rich works with me in building my weekly plan so the plan fits my life.

Even though I’m down in Dallas, Texas, Coach Rich is there for me.  We talk every week about how the week has gone and what’s coming up next.  He quickly responds to all of my email inquiries.   He has analyzed my swim stroke using video.  I’ve done fitness tests in all three disciplines.

I upload my workout data from my Garmin including pace, heart rate, and power to Training Peaks.  Coach Rich is able to analyze the data and use it in setting my workout goals.

This year we are building to my lifelong dream of completing an Ironman.  I’ll be competing with Coach Rich at Ironman Wisconsin 2010 in Madison next September.
